Interestingly, I quite like the tilting building on the right kinda replicating the tilt of the glass structure on the left. The reflections and softness and drama of the sky just add to it. Nice one!

I really like the composition of the photo. The dry path in the middle ruptures the continuity between the building and its reflection on the ground. It also grounds the otherwise oblique plane of the building. The walker almost seems out of proportion, as if pasted in.

I would do a little cropping (bottom and left) and slight clockwise realignment and perhaps a little work on the white balance and contrast.

Nice shot.

Yeah . The hair over the eye gives her a mysterious look . Stranges but the grainy effect adds to the picture and makes it feel more raw ! ...I like this lots

xavtek (Xavier Rotivel) said 3 years ago:

Thanks everyone for your inputs, mostly the thing i felt strange about was the left eye hidden behind hair.
But as manickavelu said, it adds to the mystery, so i guess it's ok.

I agree great composition and I like the "mystery" Great job.

What a great catch and cool capture! The B/W choice for the dalmation works so well.

HDR?

xavtek (Xavier Rotivel) said 2 years ago:

I didn't used HDR for that one.
It's a combination of several layers and high pass filters to add some density to the shadows without losing details.

awesome-great capture

xavtek (Xavier Rotivel) said 3 years ago:

Thanks !
Thunder was striking crazy that night, i saw multiple impacts (like a douzen) in the woods, so i took my camera and try to catch a lightning. Exposure is 4s long

Paulforrester (Paul Forrester) said 3 years ago:

that makes it even better-4 seconds-wow-i have tried to catch lightning-but have been nowhere near as succesful as you in this capture!

bbonner (Bonner Photographic) said 2 years ago:

Very nice image. I would suggest re-framing the image to remove the building on the right. It is a very heavy element that doesn't have an equal balance in the rest of the image. Capturing lighting is AWESOME!
