i like this very much as a minimalistic shot. the way the light bounces off of the corners and the play with shadows makes it for me. if I was to change something, i might crop out the light in the top right because it makes me question where it is coming from, however, my suggested crop isnt essential. finally, i want to comment that your choice of b+w was perfect for this image.

good point. i guess it deviates from the "big city" skyline-themed shots.

there's a nice vibes going out this shot. I like the ethereal view of one building compared to the other.

I really like this shot. It does exactly what you said, it deviates from the conventional skyline type shot with a unique perspective.

I love that, I'd like to see it B&W, but the framing is really great !

Nice processing, I really like the texture of the background. You have a very distinctive processing technique that I always recognize. Good Work!

i agree, your processing is really good. it adds nice texture to your shots. this photo, in particular, is very nice and elegantly warmed by the processing.

I like it, has a "Blade Runner" feel. The one thing I would like to see more of is some traffic headlight blurs and maybe a little more focus on the 2 prominent building on the right foreground.

I think this one is excellent. It really shows "Big City" it seems to go on forever.
Pi-Production (Eric Rousset) added a critique 1 year ago:
Very good processing it's like "Sin City" in "Big City",or a french movie "Renaissance"
Well done

Oh no! I do not have enough english words for this. In German, the Viennise way, I would say: "Bist du deppart!" which would be translated into "Are you crazy!" but it does not mean the same. I is a scream that means, I am so impressed, so amazed about what I see. If any of my postings in this topic would win over this posting, I would feel ashamed.

i think this is a very powerful photo. At first I thought they were two monks sitting in front of a modern water feature. I like this photo.

Well composed, with just enough ambiguity to be very thought provoking. A nice capture of serenity with the soft light background and black, seemingly contemplative figures balanced in the frame. Good stuff.

i love the way you composed this shot. the frame and 3rds rule was hit spot on. beautiful.
I like the shapes and shadows. Nice composition, too.
Great job!
