thanks for the comment! Actually it's a Prestridge which you've probably never heard of because my grandfather made it. It's either the 5th or 6th one he did and they're all different, basically customized.

I also agree with tewcrmp with the angle that you chose to shot it. The worn wood shows that it is well played and enjoyed.

Yea the light and shadows make the grain of wood stand out good framing as well!! Keep the shutter clicken @ oh yes the strings to :)

This is good! Like the dof and area of focus you have chosen here - really works quite well, I think. Your composition is strong and works well. I might have straightened it just a little as the fret in the upper right of the photo is not squared up.
