in my opinion a crop eliminating the overburn sky would have more impact on the composition of the boat in calm water, sky reflected in water would have been more subjective and less distracful,
image cropped to the rigth would seem to crowded with element in the composition
i would suggest cropping out the portion of the peniche in half even if it left a dead space of the
water, it would still reflect the calm of harbour

Wow.. This is a beautiful image. One that has definatley made it to my favorites. I would not make any changes. Very well done!

This is a very nice image. I love the foreground and would not make any changes in that part of the photo at all. IMHO the focal point of the photo are the boats in the foreground and, secondarily, the row of lights running from the right edge. However, like others who have mentioned cropping, I think I would crop a bit too. It seems to me the brightest part of the sky is drawing my eyes away from the boats with the interesting result that I end up looking at the vortex of the row of lights and the bridge, a point where there is nothing much going on in the photo. When I crop this photo roughly midway through the gray clouds (just above the line of buildings) my eyes rest back on the boats again...which I think is preferable. (You can see if you have the same response by scrolling the photo into the top of your monitor until the bright sky and the top portion of the gray clouds are no longer in view.) Anyway, that's my two cents worth. Otherwise I like the photo (good lines, color, clarity and interest value throughout) as is. Good work.

Nice image......I would have liked to see it taken a bit further to the right with the lights running straight up.......just a thought.
