I have cropped this image based on advice given. Curious to see what people think of this version. Oskar is a very loving dog owned by my Mother that I may be adopting when we move.

le regard dans la diagonale c'est bon mais à mon avis il y a vraiment trop de parties floues dans cette photo. un diaphragme un peu plus fermé pour une netteté du museau jusqu'au yeux!

So sweet...just captures their personality...the eyes tell so much.

For me, it wasn't the cropping, it was the yellow toy. This cropping probably is the best way to go if you want to crop out the toy. It does, however feel like it needs more chinroom.

I love it! Mostly because it looks like my dog, and I know how hard it is to properly expose the image to get the details of the fur without horribly blowing out all the highlights.

I think if it were me I would cropped it even more heavily so that there was nothing in the frame but the face of the dog. If it was possible I also would have used a higher f-stop number to increase the depth so that the muzzle would have been in focus. Either that or gone really shallow (with the lowest f-stop) and just focused on those eyes. But it's a sweet image all the same. Very expressive with the tilt of the head.

This looks like a dog with attitude. Great timing, good shot.
