For this Topic, I would have preferred you loose the yellow ball, BUT this would be GREAT in the Topic "Yellow".

Either way it is a great pet portrait. The expression is just the nuts!! You really got the DoF in just he right place.

@beamer - thanks for the feedback. It is his favourite toy which is why I left it in but I can see it distracts from the main focus

@dcannaday - that's pretty typical blur of my favourite lens - a 35+ year old manual 50mm f1.4 lens.

Vanessa - I think if you cropped the photo just above the yellow toy it would move from "great" to "perfect" as far as photos go. The toy isnt needed. It detracts from the dog. Wonderful capture!
