Thanks Paul...Definitely going to try it:)
psychodudu (Andrew Parker) added a critique 1 year ago:
Nope. The other one is where it's at. You just need to refine the other one and you've got a real winner on your hands (excuse the pun...lol). This is out of balance, and you've lost the cool intertwining fingers concept, which I loved. I think the symmetry is important in this, so you should keep that. Not sure the ghostly aspect on the fingers is wrong either, it gives it a supernatural look. Sorry!
dpd (Piet Osefius & Rob van Kleef) added a critique 1 year ago:
Very nice symmetry, you have a good eye. The only thing I don't like in this picture is the bit over saturated red of the nails.
chromadreams (David) added a critique 1 year ago:
is good but i think that you should try it again without the jewels and not so saturated, with a little less of saturation would be so good.
kadenajack (Jack) added a critique 10 months ago:
I really like this one. I'm surprised it hasn't featured yet. If I were to improve anything it would be to only saturate the nails.

ufff, great DOF, good angle for the wiew but i would like it more if the focus where at the first flame, nothing more than that detail, it's so good all the way.
byutanner (Jason Tanner) added a critique 1 year ago:
Morten, I really like the image. I agree with David above and I also wonder about seeing the flame and corresponding idol in focus. But nice shot. Great choice of subject and I like the perspective.

Fantastic Hi-Key commercial look! Other than the rest of the glass...it's perfect:)
tulna (Tulna Chauhan) added a critique 1 year ago:
I agree about the whole glass being there, but what a classy shot! Something very 80's about it too :-)

I bet this would look awesome in b&w as well. Very dramatic image with an incredible sky.
odon (Odon Dias) added a critique 1 year ago:
Nice blue sky, the soft red tones all around are also cool. I think that this picture fits in the backlighting, too.
aepoc (Jason Kessenich) added a critique 1 year ago:
To me, this image is really powerful. It shows how "uphill" the battle of everyday life can be, and how the person has to be prepared for it. Every morning is a new day. You're able to start over, if you so choose. This is a wonderful photo.

Pretty funny picture, nice colours and nice "vintage" feel of the old bike. However, I don't really like the softness, it almost look like a grey veil. I think that a shallow DoF centered on either the bike or the sign would have worked much better.
vanessapr (Vanessa Pike-Russell) added a critique 1 year ago:
I love the colours - soft and antique feel to this. I agree, a little bit of contrast would be good but not too much. Reminds me of days gone by and long bike rides down to the sea. Lovely image
Bastian (Bastian Löhrer) said 1 year ago:
Thanks for the criticism, I'm going to add some contrast before I put the image on my website.
chromadreams (David) added a critique 1 year ago:
the softness is the best part of the image, you have created a great atmosphere, so great, and the message you saw it's so god too, those dead colors works perfectly whit the softness.
Grat job Bastian, congratulations.

K, I'm a skeptic, but was this really panning? To me it looks like a Photoshop effect that I'm not a fan of. But good subject and its sharp. well done on the shot
miniTotoro (Natalie) added a critique 1 year ago:
Nice shot. Really gives the feeling of motion. Well done.
mlberman25 (Miranda Berman) added a critique 1 year ago:
Honestly, I feel off-kilter looking at this. I'm not a huge fan of the style... but I'm intruiged by the reflections on the car - the side looks like it is night time, but the front looks like it's mid-day in the desert. And how on earth is there yellow light underneath?
tuscanice (Jo) added a critique 1 year ago:
I love the PP on this. Excellent sense of motion & great reflections:)

Did you planned this on when and where you are going to shoot? The picture makes me feel like Superman. Nice!

This image looks like a screenshot from a nex-gen computer game. Looks like state of the art three dimensional graphics, that's fantastic! Hard to believe it's a toy. You've dome some good job!
Neuner added a critique 1 year ago:
I agree with Tony. I'd like the crop only if there was an archnemesis or barbie doll toy in the background to give it some story. Otherwise I think it is good.
odon (Odon Dias) said 1 year ago:
Thank you so very much, nfds and Neuner.
I did the shot before the story. Now, the road is open to create some scripts.
Thanks, again.
