No doubt, the subject IS the eye ! What a look !

Hay fotografias donde el fotografo tiene que hacer un gran despliege de medios para conseguir una buena fotografia; otras, al contrario, parecen esperar al fotografo. Como en este caso. El sujeto ofrece lo mejor de él para que el fotografo se luzca. Enhorabuena.

Initially my eye is taken to the mouth as that is the brightest part of the picture... then my eye wanders left to the plaid pattern of the fabric. finally my eye comes back to the just above centre of the image... the eye of the child.

i feel this image is strong of compositional value. the rule of thirds and any other graphs you use for composition is used well in this image.

This would make a strong high contrast black and white image!

really nice shot.
my only comment would be that the left part is too bright. it's really distracting the eye. may be croping the black and white fabric could help ? or darken this part of the picture to have all the left part in the dark?...
