I reallly like this picture. The different tones of blue with a vague yellow sun give a nice glow on the wing. The different textures of the wing make this an excellent reflection. How did you manage to get such a sharp picture through the plane's window?

Please, please tell us more. Is it possible to get such an amazing shot from a normal passenger airoplane? Or where you the pilot of a small one? Beside asking myself this stuff I can only say, that I love both, the view and the colors here.

Thank you, everyone! Yes, this was shot from my very cramped coach seat on a commercial airline. I just managed to be in the right seat (behind the wing) on the right side (actually the left) at the right time of day (just after dawn) and managed to get the shot as we circled around over the ocean after takeoff. After the last time I'd had an early morning flight out of LAX I swore I'd never fly without my camera again! I got some other nice shots during the flight, but this was the magic moment.
