This is beautiful. I love the composition--a seemingly small man, in the dark, looking out of a very large bright window. I love the juxtaposition of the small shadowed man representing naivety of man and the large bright window representing knowledge and possibilities. O.K. so maybe I'm reading too much into it but that's what is invokes in me. I think it's perfect.

Great image. Honestly if I didn't know the theme I would have never figured that it was a person. After looking at it, I didn't realize it was a person's face in that I thought it was a female form from the backside wearing a scarf! Man I'm warped...you got me! I wonder what this would look like in black & white?

a very strange portrait but the lightlines are working great with the dark scenery. i like it, because it's a unusual portrait.

Agi500 -- I see the female if my mustache is her scarf. It's funny but I can see face no problem. I've had friends say they didn't see it right off. I'll have to check it out in b&w.

I don't see the female with the mustache is a scarf. I see a female (or at least human) form with your right eye (our right, your left) is the neck, the shadow crossing your nose is an arm and her torso is the shadow from your nose.
If that's a different woman from the one you're seeing, you've really got a nice shot there...two, or possibly three images in one.

the "green" colors are nice. Not too long exposed, well done !

Very "other worldly", I love it. The only thing that would make it perfect for me would be to take a chainsaw to the smaller tree on the right--it's a little distracting. But then again, not much you can do about it really. Wonderful.

Sorry to be the only one to disagree (my usual role). This is all lovely jubbly, fantastic shards of light, and mucho atmosphere. However, the theme is Water Works, and the water is the *last* thing you notice in the shot! It's almost unidentifiable, it's so flat and strangely lit. Great shot, Jason (one of many), but not for this theme imho.
