Your framing appears perfectible, indeed, one often applies the rule of the thirds in order to put to a strong point an essential component of the portrait, the eyes. Here your model is centered too much. Often, one recommends to photograph a child since his height (at the same time the topic is Low Down, and the rules are made to be broken…) You knew to use the flash in a discrete way, cheer. Your B&W is soft, and I find that it is appropriate for the portrait. I wish you a good continuation, and do not hesitate to make many portrait in order to continue in this way. Greetings.
