What a great photo! The fact that the duck is so close to the water and the reflection provides such nice symmetry! Awesome shot.
Pradeep (Pradeep P) said 8 months ago:
Thats an awesome shot! Superb!! Love the sense of motion.
I would suggest cropping a little to the top.

Even though this is a landscape my eye searches for a subject… A person walking into the bend of the road would make this a much stronger photo.
susiej (Susie Janowski) added a critique 1 year ago:
I would have liked to be able to see more of that stone wall. That's so beautiful!
jvgphoto (jon van gilder) added a critique 8 months ago:
Very nice as far as it goes - but where is it going? Needs a stronger subject.
Best,

Geo,
Unusual perspective on this one. I love the light on the little pearls in the bottom left of the photograph. Nice job.
Best,
Jon

What was your goal with this image? I think the angle is interesting, but I am not thrilled with the composition. Just my humble opinion. I would also suggest that you did not use the flash head on as it appears.

I like the sharpness of this image, I think it would have worked better without a flash, and a better composition.

I love the rlines of red, green, and yellow. But I wish the main branches were off center. For some reason my eye doesn't like being drawn right to the center of the page.

Los colores son bonitos pero hay demasiada luz en el fondo que los degrada.

Great colors on the front branch, the sky and back trees feel a bit washed out.
jvgphoto (jon van gilder) added a critique 9 months ago:
Good attempt, but your exposure is not quite right, resulting in some washed out areas. This just misses being a very good shot.
Best,
Jon

I like the angle that you chose to shoot the house.

There must be a really good story behind this subject! I also like the angle used here and the way that the building seems to disappear into the bush in the background.

Nice shot and interesting subject. I like the lighting and atmosphere that is created here. I would like to know more!

I really like this shot...the shimmer of the water seems to be echoed in the feather details of the bird. Really nice. My only criticism would be the white reflection in front of the bird is a bit distracting.
remirol (Andy Lorimer) said 9 months ago:
Just a amazing picture. You caught nature at its best, the reflection of the duck is terrific on the water. keep the shutter going :)

Kid wants to play, goat? wants to butt heads!! Nice candid capture. The sea of green is so uniform that this might be a good candidate for some vignetting. I'm not usually a fan, but here it might help. Another thing might be just a tiny bit tighter crop?
Eye_See added a critique 1 year ago:
Charming photo. I would have cropped in tighter, more focus on subject and less on the grass.
Neuner added a critique 1 year ago:
Nice Capture, but I have to agree that the crop is not as tight as it should be.

Nice shot in so many ways! It is a little static and too centered, however. Great capture!

Saludos

I think this image has some real potential. I'm going to have to agree with Nick on the details. I think I'd prefer more or less. In this case, there are some beautiful reflections on that water so it might've been nice to focus on bringing those out and making the girl more of a silhouette. I also find the plants a bit distracting but they're thin and could easily be handled with a few clicks in Photoshop.
crahan (Thomas Bouve) added a critique 9 months ago:
You have a very nice composition and silhouette here (especially with the reflections under the legs), but the blacks are too gray for me. For this type of image I prefer darker grays to blacks for the subject.

You are really submitting a lot or work lately! This is good, but not as good as it might be - the above comments are very helpful, in my opinion. I love the reflecting light in the foreground - amazing!
