The hidden depth on the right side horizon, as well as the tree distribution makes cropping all the way from the left to the first tree a better comp for me. It also brings out the color banding a bit more. good capture, apparently there are a lot of possibilities from different perspectives.

wow.
Thats great.
Where is it?

I personally love how the trees aren't perfectly distanced from one another, or perfectly spaced in the photo itself, it seems more natural. I absolutely love the silhouettes and how detailed they are, and the tones of the sky are beautiful!

Great photo. I think you need just three trees and a more empty sky, specially for the airplanes, but you make a fantastic job!!!!

Man, I hate to say "nice depth of field" but I totally like the rendering of the off focus regions. This rocks, and it's a great photo for the Nature topic, too. All these details ... just wow.
Can you give me some details on the capture? (I know that the gear doesn't make the photo, but I'm curious about that. :) Since I come from the digital end of the photography, I don't see bokeh and DOF like that too often.)
Plus, where and how did you find that mushroom? I mean, it looks like a scene from wonderland! :)
Insta-faved btw.

It's that simple. This photo was made 20 years ago, the slide films ORWO (Agfa), then transferred to a digital photo. Photo was taken mirror film camera Zenit-TTL ", f = 50 (36)? And yet, no processing is subjected.
Photo was taken on the Karelian isthmus, whereas there was a lot of mushrooms. Geo-coordinates www.fishup.ru/geo/m/select/p/gid/726581/oid/995621...

Maravilloso movimiento, la justa definición para entender el ambiente, en ambos sujetos (primer y segundo plano).
Wonderful movement, the definition just to understand the environment in both subjects (first and second level).

Huh ... haven't seen this one before. Again I like the tones and the contrast here. It looks like a photograph from an old newspaper. Maybe the reflection from that window in the foreground makes me think this, I don't know - but I like it! Instant favorite!
Where did you take it?

The flare spots on her face and back are too much for me. I also think the sky is too blown out, causing it to compete with the people and your model. The only way I know to get rid of the flare spots is to change your position relative to the sunlight so that the light is not directly shining down the barrel of the lens. These conditions are pretty tough IMHO.
sunside (Markus van Dahlen) said 1 year ago:
Should have said that: I chose that place and upwards angle intentionally to get exactly that effect (I know this may sound weird and it probably isd :)
Please let's ignore that part for the moment.
Still - thanks very much Jeff!
Beamer (Clyde Beamer) added a critique 1 year ago:
I like what you are doing here. I would suggest to crop tighter to loose some of the left and top. This would mediate what Jeff is saying about the sky fighting for attention and it would make the portrait more intimate. The only part of the lens flare that bothers me is the ring that is right on the end of her nose. The rest I like.
guczo (Attila Balogh) added a critique 1 year ago:
OK you got the flare effect but the overall feel of the image doesn't really tell anything. It would've been a good portrait without the over-exposure and that sculpture over her head.

Haha, I have to admit that I don't really speak French, so I had to use a web translation service to understand that. :) Merci beaucoup, meditant! :)

I like this one, but I think I would have preferred a somewhat lower perspective, closer to the footsteeps and looking up to the horizon. (Of course I wasn't there so I can't tell if that really would have been better. :))
Very beautiful sky and colors. I don't mind the alignment so much, though I do think it would be a little better if the trees were off center. I also kind of wish the van was in-between the trees.
