It would have more of a dramatic effect without the person IMO.

beautiful shot, the repetition is very interesting. The person doesn't bother me, if you could see details on them it would be distracting, but just the silhouette adds a nice break to the pattern.

About the person: There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that he has to be there to break the pattern. I have other pictures without the person, and they just doesn't work.

This is a great shot. I can't tell if it is a color or b&w image. It might be interesting to put a very little bit of blue into the sky, but it isn't necessary.

I too agree that the person adds to the shot, rather than taking away. It places the shot in the real world, and give it perspective. Otherwise, it could have been a model...
