I love the colors and the vibrancy, and would love it even more if it was squared up by a little rotate to the right.

Agree that alignment seems a little off - slight rotate right. Perhaps explore some alternative crops?

I like he colours, the colour contrast, in fact about all about it, but my eye keeps wandering about looking for a resting point.

I think the colors are a bit strong and I wonder what a desaturation would do for them. or even bringing the exposure down a little, but good capture.

I like color/saturation, but the frame... why not another point of view ?

I agree with the comments on atmosphere, but found I really had to move my screen around to get a sense of the whole picture. Maybe that is just my screen resolution. I must say as I write this, the shot is just getting better and better.

This is an example, where decay is nothing bad, but here I am happy, that this old building still exists. I hope, they will take care of it. Lovely shot with a great color.

This image contains a sense of mystery and doom. The use of light and overall composition is very nice.

They were both processed (as far as I can remember) more or less the same way. Just some curves, levels, and saturation... perhaps the saturation is a bit overdone, but if it's pixelated (I don't see it) I would image it's only because of the resizing and compressing for the web version. Thanks for the constructive critique!

Good composition - you break the rule-of-thirds (rules should be broken!) but you could make it even better by cropping a little off the bottom so that the horizon is exactly in the middle.

I really like the way the sticks and break-waters lead you to the right hand side of the picture.

I'm only new to this..but I know what I like. I love the sky colors in this. To me personally though, the boat is almost lost with so much sky.. my eye is drawn to the sky colors rather than the boat. I guess the boat is almost too minimalist for me. Man, I hate saying that really as you have so much more experience than I do...but thats what i feel. Sorry!

It's really working well for this theme I think. This picture is about light and shadow in more way than just the obvious one with this game of black and white.

simply gorgeous. just the right softness and perspective - and vibrancy - all integrated.

I really like the muted, rusty tones in this. That said, I think a little more contrast would have been great to really make those light rays coming through the window stand out.

Tone is really nice. I just wish the picture had a center of attention where viewers eyes could linger for some time.

I agree that the tones are great. I also wish there was an item to focus on so the photo doesn't seem so "busy."

I would suggest lightening and sharpening it's to dark for my taste. However nice crop.

thank you for your comments. However, the original photography is darker than this; and I think it's better for contrast. Actually, The paper developpment is less "white".

Nice composition. I think this picture works. I can't imagine it looking any brighter than that. You'd lose the shadows. Great work!
