dizzying!

Fantastic curves! I brought the image down so that the bottom of my screen crops just above the railing in the bottom of the image just to where the white starts. I feel it gives it a little better balance. Wonderful b&w with excellent details. Great eye:)

Thanks for all the responses, and making the feature possible.
Next time I publish it, I will probably cut off the bottom just above the bottom railing. - It really does look better. Special thanks for this advice, tuscanice.

Wish there was more detail in the shadows on the subjects face - would have added a great amount of WOW to the photo.

I like subject on this photo... mountain people is always so interesting!

would loved to have had more detail in the shadow on the mans face. That really would have made it a nice photo.

For me the shadow in upper part of the face underline the power of lower part. Power of mountain people... Nice photo.

Great colors in the clouds! Wish i could see this as a panoramic just to see what it would look like, with the clouds and sunset going off to the right.

Thanks for your criticisms

I think the cropping is done very well. The smoke pulls the eye was I think you intended.

I absolutely love the color in this picture. You captured this perfectly. :)

Indeed, it is beautiful. The colors, the lines, the composition work extremely well.

Very nice shot. Cool the way that the bird is posing. A bit of solarization on the left side, but the silhoutte takes advantage of it.
byutanner (Jason Tanner) added a critique 1 year ago:
Looks great. The bird appears to be thinking. Great catch.
grayphotog added a critique 1 year ago:
I like the dark bird shape (an organic shape within straight lines). I think it would look better in black and white. I also think the shape of the bird could relate more strongly with the background, perhaps from a different angle or composition that would better highlight the tension of organic/inorganic lines.
silenzioso (alberto) added a critique 1 year ago:
the bird appears to be sad and "strongly thinking" about something... good composition!

Interesting bridge. Good perspective. Makes you feel out of balance, but you really do have it level.
Blumie (Sabine) added a critique 1 year ago:
This perspective is just fantastic. I like how the couple of joggers look like twarfs here. Good job.

This a very cool shot! I wouldnt change a thing!
grayphotog added a critique 1 year ago:
I agree with the comment about putting the sky in focus. It'd be cool if you could get even closer as well. The drama is there, but I feel like it could be even more dramatic. Did you try putting the tee off center? (I would at least try putting the tee on the right so you could imagine the ball having moved from right to left across the frame.)
prometheus (Thomas) added a critique 1 year ago:
The backround has a dramatic impression, but for me the motive, the tee, hasn't. And it's not strong enough in the focus. But the atmosphere is well captured.
taikrixel (thomas mueller) said 1 year ago:
thanks for all the critique.
psychodudu (Andrew Parker) added a critique 1 year ago:
I do think had you been able to get down below the level of the tee, it would have turned what is an excellent photo into an AWESOME photo. It is such a wicked concept though, I love it.

I like Dof on this, but I think the leaf low on the right should be all in focus...

Yeah I agree. Thanks Alberto.

I like this very much but I think the flowers on the foreground should be all focused...
Thanks.
The light at the top came from a window, I did not flash.
