This guy knows, how to handle problems. I would really love to talk to him. Thanks a lot for capturing him and I hope you gave him a little "thank you" for his perfect posing.
dcrphotography (Daniel) said 1 year ago:
hmmm...interesting. I don't know how funny it is, kinda sad.
Lamdennison (Leigh-Anne Dennison) said 1 year ago:
I consider the fact that he was trying to be humorous in his life situation (though it is unfortunate) and the happenstance of catching his sign in line with the sign on the business behind it. It is certainly not meant to laugh at his misfortune or (presumably) his addiction.

Defenitly funny! ;)

What a guy,and what a set-up for you,Leigh-Anne. :-)

Only in kansas you can find 95th St. intersect with 95th, and you have to stop to think, am I in the right way? ;p
Taken last winter, in the middle of ice storm.
shiningpig said 1 year ago:
That's odd -- the situation -- not your photo.
How in the world do you find you way with signs like THAT?
Fits the topic very well!
mikeock (Mike Adams) said 1 year ago:
Ok you are corrected.
We also have these in some towns in Idaho.
Twin Falls, Id is the biggest offender.
I think that they have 12 different 4th Streets.
I used to live at the corner of 4th and 4th.
I will have to look next time i am there to get some of those for this topic.
digitalchemy (A J Gunawan) said 1 year ago:
cool mike, yes post it here and share with us :)
thanks for your correction, never been to idaho before but some day i will.

Did you go back and shoot this location friday?! :)

i love the perspective that you've got on this one. just find the structure outside a bit busy for the rest of the frame...it's a nice contrast maybe, but for me it detracts from the abstract quality of the stairs and the feet.

I think the grass color is fine actually... it IS an abstract...therefore it is meant to be...well, abstract. The enhanced colors fit well. Nice work!

So my image is the prove, that tastes are different. I am happy, you like it.

Congrats on the feature Jenine, that's really neat!
jeninja-inja (Jenine Lindeque) said 1 year ago:
thanks everyone and for the feature! This is one of the government buildings in Jaipur, the picturesque capital city of Rajasthan (India). This is not really a tourist attraction but we had a awesome guide, he stopped here for 5 minutes, I took this picture, he had a ciggie, a tight schedule to Delhi, so that was it. One of my favourite pictures of the trip. Thanks again!

Actually this is the Palace of the Winds. The harem ladies of the Maharaja could peep down at the folk below without being seen themselves...
Great symmetric shot, ditto contrasts, could use a little tilt to the left though...

Wow! What a delicate snail on that seemingly huge orange thing. Is it a pumpkin?
I love this picture. So simple, so slow, so strking.
Lamdennison (Leigh-Anne Dennison) said 1 year ago:
Great big impact with such a tiny snail.
Naturespixel (Leisa Hennessy) said 1 year ago:

Love the sky and main building. Would love to see a bit of the lower left corner cloned out, or cropped out.
Strong contrast between smooth white numbers and the rough red bricks/grey mortar. I can feel this picture. Texture is apparent!
