I really am in awe of the depth and how it carries through to the foreground and eventual vanishing point of the image. The lightness graduating to darkness gives it a wonderful atmosphere...almost foreboding, but not really. Impressive work!

This is a compelling shot. I wonder if it might have a stronger impact by cropping out the top third - removing the crashing wave, and just leaving the sand. But as it is - well done.

Unique and very interesting. Hey try this, crop the whole top half off and it looks like a desert seen from a jet liner... :-)

Nice photo. I´m not an expert, but what I like the most is the angle and you can see the sea. May be all says you to crop it but for me the meaning of it and context it gives to you it´s perfect, not too abstract but the photo is really nice and interesting.

This image tells a nice story. Your composition shows them as individuals as well as a couple. The expressions and body language are interesting too.

I agree that this is a very well composed shot that tells a nice story. I also like the use of colour here where there might have been a temptation to desaturate and present it b&w.

I really like this photo. If I had to really nit-pick, I would have suggested having the center black line cover the white line in the background. Otherwise, spot-on shot.

Wonderful lighting and focus on the eye and detail in the feathers on its head. This is a great shot.

Overall a striking photo - the only criticism I can make is that the brightness of the white around the beak/combined with that yellow, isn't quite pleasing to the eye...but you can't always pick your subjects. And maybe if the beak were a little more in focus. But overall - well done.

I think you were on the right track with this shot, but it seems to suffer from a lack of a focal point. My eye is all over the place and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be focused on.

great shot. and the colors really flow with the picture..like both jon and stephen said i agree. not too sure what to be looking at.. but one thing that gets my eye is that brown rock in the middle. just grabs my eyes everytimee.
