Very cool image. Nicely framed and very crisp focus on the pelican. What a great shot. Excellent work.

Afoklala (Jan Willem van Dormolen) said 9 days ago:

Fantastic shot. The bird seems not to fly, but to float in the air. With an amazed crowd in the background, admiring the trick.

Absolutely stunning!

Really, really neat. Nice selection of rocks and a sweet effect with the haze above the surface of the water (or is that actually the motion of the water during a long exposure). Nice capture.

Great portrait. Nothing set up. You can tell he's enjoying his day. Real lighting, cloudy sky. This is the true essence of an environmental portait. Great.

It's rather for topic "Portraite of persson" than Human Body!

TammyLynn (Tammy) said 6 months ago:

I think this is a fantastic shot for the topic, well done! Beautiful capture too. Love the expression on his/her face. :-D

Awesome shot.
These type of shots make me happy the wife is pregnant!

sealgmg2 (Scott Niquette) said 5 months ago:

Great expression. You captured his/her emotion wonderfully. This image made me smile, really. While the background is a bit busy, the image still works because it's real and because the child is so prominent in the image. Very nice work. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Where's the ball?

sfkp (Tamara) said 4 months ago:

I hope he missed it and didn't hit it :P Looks painful, otherwise.

Be careful about putting images on the web of major league sports. Most tickets (you should check the back of yours) have a disclaimer strictly prohibiting any reproduction of the game outside of the ballpark without written permission from Major League Baseball or the home team's ballpark.

Neat shot Mikhail. Looks like you timed it right to get the steam (or maybe fog) rising off of the meadow. Pretty image. Is that your house :-)

What a nice image. He looks so content sitting in the water. I remember loving to sit in the shower when I was his age. Glad he's having fun and glad you shared the image with us. I hope it's hanging on your wall somewhere.

Love the shadow of the ball.

Jim and Nick. Thanks for the comments. While I never request comments, I sure enjoy getting them unsolicited. This was a shot of my son's first season in little league. It was great fun shooting and then sharing the images with the other team parents at the end of the year party.
