What an unusual setting and portrait. Was he trying to spell P-E-T-S for the other topic? :D

Nice shot - love the tone and clarity as well as the contrast.

uncommondepth (Roberta Murray) said 1 year ago:

Just the printing keys would have been great for this category. The snake just pushes this over the top. Excellent mood to this through the toning.

VernonTrent (Vernon Trent) said 1 year ago:

very exotic!

congrats on the feature stephen :-)

agrimace said 1 year ago:

Nice letter and snake of course. What type of snake?

sblackstone (Stephen Blackstone) said 1 year ago:

Thanks Vernon and agrimace. It is a leaf-nosed snake.

Beautiful abstract - I love the diagonal line of the oar and the reflections of the light on the lower part of the hull.

beckn32 (Kim Norton) said 1 year ago:

This is very beautiful. I love the calm golden tones of the boat and the oar makes you know exactly what this is. Wonderful work.

I just love your work.

The way you incorporate reptiles and amphibians with dark tones and simple props fascinates me. It's like Harry Potter meets the medieval era. All your photographs are feature worthy. You are very good at what you do. I truly mean that.

sblackstone (Stephen Blackstone) said 1 year ago:

Thanks, Thelma

UnieX (Carlos Crooks) said 1 year ago:

Great shot! The subject and the off-subject are perfectly composed. The DOF looks great and sharpness on the toad is perfect. As Blizz said, the tones in this photo are awesome. Nice job.

LadyWings (Kara Brothers) said 1 year ago:

Great shot with great DOF and composition.

I like this. Our hands are one of the primary features that make humans distinct from other animals and it is because we can do so much more work with them thanks to the opposable thumb, so well portrayed in this shot.
