Love the colour and the detail here, and the light is especially good. Your choice of landscape presentation is not what one might expect with this subject (to crop the head and feet), but it works really well. Well done.

Thanks, but, yes, it is strange. I had not seen that angle before. I took the photo by standing on a planter box next to the church and happened to see that angle up the roof line. This is actually what I got. It's not a "processed" view.

This photo was taken "on the fly" and is presented with no edits. One of my students was sitting next to desk my desk, reading, when I took this photo.

The topic mentions "Not an individual portrait, but groups of any sort.". I don't think this picture belongs to this topic, unless I'm mistaken.

Not bad, but it doesn't really pop. The lighting isn't great, and it's a little bit on the soft side. Comp and dof are pretty good.

Yes, I agree that this is a lovely shot. Composition and execution is very well handled (the detail in the net and is that a lifeguard tower behind? - wow!) to capture people going about their lives ... nice.
