I actually agree with Sher on this one. Although I do wonder what a straight b/w would like. Wonderful idea!

¡Enhorabuena!

Cool !!! I'm happy it has been featured.

I really don't see much to improve here. One thing could be the shadows. I'd probably light that guy up just a little bit so that a little more detail is visible, but it would be really a fine tweak. I'm not sure what that thing is that hangs there on the third bar, but when I think about it, the photo would lose something if that would have been removed.
Really, that's a great shot!

This is one of the better sunburst pics I have ever seen. Nice composition. Have you tried a b/w version? Did you do manipulate the contrast any? Way to go!
riesenriel (riesenriel) said 1 year ago:
No, I didn't try but maybe I will do ;-) The tones and contrast are original, it was a beautiful moment and I'm glad I captured it.

I like this, you often see water drops on cobwebs, but not often do you see frost!

Nice! Is this dead or alive?
riesenriel (riesenriel) said 9 months ago:
Dead. Found him on my table and it was one of my first macro pictures with my new macro-lens.

Great shot. Personally, a think a little more DOF would be good. It would put some detail into the flower parts and the leg.
Oh, and I like that the petal breaks the frame a little. It makes it clear that even though there is texture detail there, it isn't the subject of the picture.
Laurie (Laurie) added a critique 1 year ago:
This is a beautiful shot and that's about all I have to say...nothing to critique. I like the DOF. I think it separates the insect well from the background.

Always interesting to see the clouds shot from the other side of the sky. Great clarity on the wing...
I disagree with the above. The topic is Beach not person. I think the mystery surrounding the person works well. I like it as is. Wonderful work.
