With all these positive comments, I don't understand why this is not featured yet...

A really funny photo, I love the DOF, the colour and the dogs eye.

Is this a pet?
Cass (Cass Horton) said 1 year ago:
Thanks everyone for the feedback so far. I agree the focus is "off", im going to go back to the source image to try to figure it out.
And yep, it's a pet. That's "Yogee", my significant other's 6' long iguana.
riesenriel (riesenriel) added a critique 1 year ago:
Nice details but a little bit blurry. But is a cool look.
tulna (Tulna Chauhan) added a critique 1 year ago:
As a thumbnail it looked fully focused and crisp. Unfortunately it is too blurred for me. I love the composition though.
diezel99 added a critique 1 year ago:
Very cool shot, nice clearity and colour. Cool reflection in the eye.

Like the light and tones here, gives a wonderful atmosphere in this kitchen.
chromadreams (David) added a critique 1 year ago:
I don't think that the displays are doing the duo, I think that the courtains are doing it, am I right?, never mind, all the way I find this photo so great, so natural scene of any home, maybe the light at the courtain's top is a bit strong but nothing important.
Truly I like this picture a lot.
lbstone (Brandon Stone) added a critique 1 year ago:
Very nice. I thought I commented on this before, but I guess I didn't. I love this kind of stuff. The "Duo-ness" is probably not terribly obvious, but it's a great, simple photo nonetheless. Anthropologists of the future will probably enjoy images like this.

THis is a wonderful "slice-of-life" photo. I really enjoyed it.

As the landlubber I am this is something that really touchs me. And you captured this beauty really in the perfect moment and that sharp and clear. Very good work!
jeninja-inja (Jenine Lindeque) added a critique 1 year ago:
really great shot! did you play around with a bit of post-production? think i could really pop if you play around with the colour balance - maybe some blues or greens?
jaapv said 1 year ago:
Thanks for the kind comments; yes, I feel the shot could have more "pop" This one is a basic raw conversion " as shot" from a laptop on location...I will do some post later.. :)
LifesMoments (Allison) added a critique 1 year ago:
Wow! Great shot! Very clear! Not much to critique here!
azurepro added a critique 1 year ago:
You did really well to capture this shot, I surf and they move FAST, getting a shot like this is not easy at all. Cant wait to see if after you "play" with the colours etc.

How sad.... but it's really a wonderful composition.
effraie added a critique 1 year ago:
very nice!
i really like DOF and focus, and the very light reflection! (what kind of surface is the fly on?)
Maybe the subject is just a bit too much in the center? (not sure...)
leaves added a critique 1 year ago:
This is lovely. They fly looks like a dead mechanical robot. :)

Nice photo but the special effects take away from it immensely, especially sense the effects are done badly.
riesenriel (riesenriel) added a critique 1 year ago:
The blur is photoshopped? That's a pity.
chefron (Ron Ernst) added a critique 1 year ago:
The blur effect adds interest to the image. Without it the image would just be another guy on a bike. Good job.
erinelizzybeth (Erin) added a critique 1 year ago:
I like the blur, but you should fix the edges at the bike rider. It could blend better than that.
jcniguez (José Carlos Ñíguez) added a critique 1 year ago:
El efecto borroso imprime sensación de velocidad, que en este caso, no va acompañado de la cara del ciclista que no denota excesivo esfuerzo.
Técnicamente buena fotografía. Un saludo.

I really like this presentation. I visited your xoverip site and I'd just like to say, as someone pretty jaded, that your images are definitely something special. Although this is certainly not a novel idea, your keen eye in grouping these elements together has made for a very pleasing whole.

Wow nice photo. Was Orion added post production?
duncmc (Duncan McMillan) said 1 year ago:
Thanks againt to everyone for your comments.
@ caryscott – There was very little post production on this. Orion wasn’t visible when I took the picture because of the mist over the river, but the longe exposure alllowed the stars to burn through. Other than adjusting the white balance in RAW and using a second exposure layer to enhance detail in the underside of the bridge, this is as shot.

Nice cloudsfor the theme. The shot seems overly straight forward and the color appears lacking.
mjmilloy (M-J Milloy) added a critique 1 year ago:
Yeah, thirding the idea of tilting up to get less foreground in the shot.
Also, n'thing the raves. This really is a beaut of a shot! Do tell - where is it? Western US?
bigoode (Anthony le Bourlier) added a critique 1 year ago:
this picture show us how small we are on earth
