Amazing landscape, the angle works excellent for this view.

Very cool shot, nice clearity but the colours could be more vibrant. Not sure I like the bright reflection in the water.

Es un lugar impresionante. A mi me encanta visitarlo y de la última vez hace ya demasiado tiempo (y tengo muy pocas fotos).

It is amazing. The color and light are just great. Why isn't it a feature?!

This is a good question I would like to forward to Brandon state that the photo has been voted but actually it seems it isn't anymore "in competion" as someone told me.

This is one of the better sunburst pics I have ever seen. Nice composition. Have you tried a b/w version? Did you do manipulate the contrast any? Way to go!
riesenriel (riesenriel) said 1 year ago:
No, I didn't try but maybe I will do ;-) The tones and contrast are original, it was a beautiful moment and I'm glad I captured it.

Nice! Is this dead or alive?

Dead. Found him on my table and it was one of my first macro pictures with my new macro-lens.

An excellent interpretation of the theme, straight out of a horror movie, so fantastic job on going through the effort of setting up this shot to facilitate an idea.
If i were to suggest anything, I'd say that perhaps the impact of the photo could be strengthened by increasing the contrast of the image.
The highlights already appear to be close to white, but maybe pushing more of the shadows towards black to bring out the terror in the subjects eyes. And I agree that the impact might benefit from rotating the positioning a little counter-clockwise, placing the subject more towards the (implied) submissive lying down position.

Very interesting image. I really like this b&w. Good composition, a well thought out subject, and a great expression of distress.
Nice.
diezel99 added a critique 11 months ago:
OK that is really just creepy!!!
riesenriel (riesenriel) added a critique 11 months ago:
This is soooo scary, with another angle it's much more creepy I think.

Frightening. this is weird stuff. I hope this subject is alive to see the shot. Wow, what can you say?

Thanks Andrei, I went for that slighly different angle, I could see what other people were taking and tried to mix it up a bit :)

A good framing of the rose, maybe it needs a little bit more contrast.
diezel99 added a critique 11 months ago:
It's agreat idea that in my opinion requires more sharpness to the image......
cutebutstupid (Amy Baxter) added a critique 11 months ago:
I really like the softness to this image. And the framing is well done.
anke-art (Anke Arnold) added a critique 11 months ago:
Hm, although I like it on first sight, I think the upper petals seem to "push down" the rest of the rose because the center's contrast is a bit too soft. Either I'd add a little contrast to the center or I'd crop the image.
Syam added a critique 11 months ago:
The composition is perfect but I would rather shoot it from bottom up.

Lovely lighting and long shadows. Nicely exposed though a bit blown out in a couple of places. I feel like I'm being drawn into the light. :-) Over all beautiful photograph.

Impressive sky. But I think this shot is a little bit too dark.
grahambo (Graham Siebe) added a critique 11 months ago:
If I could change one thing here, it would be to reduce the contrast on the cars at the lower left. They are sharp and have a lot of contrast compared to the rest of the photo.
diezel99 added a critique 11 months ago:
Very cool image. I'd like to see it with brighter lights.
brachtr (Rick Bracht) added a critique 11 months ago:
The sky is fantastic, but the foreground is too dark for my taste. Were it my image, I would leave the sky as it is and try to dodge the foreground just a little to bring out the dretails
lolly (lolly smits) added a critique 11 months ago:
I agree with grahambo - it's what the eye goes to immediately. Otherwise, like it.
Great angle! Where was this taken?
