This is a great capture! I agree with psychodudu on the lighting, but seriously still a sweet pic!

Good shot - hope there wasn't a train coming up behind you. The symmetry with the lights and sign is good, but it's a shame that there are not more trees on the right hand side and that the tracks don't meet at a vanishing point.

Nice picture. Symetry is really amasing.(I also thought a lot about this topic while I was travelling by train this week end ;))
There is just a problem of color for me : It looks very tern for me.

Thanks for the comments. Really amateur photographer speaking here and any suggestions are welcomed, just one question though. What's tern?

Great lighting on the subject, nice composition. The blue in the background really throws me off, looks kinda alien, but overall a great pic.

The blue in the background is very unnatural - but that is not really meant as a criticism as the subject is quite unnatural too. I like the lighting. You have gone to a lot of effort and have produced a very strange (good) photo. My only criticism is that you could clone out the star trails in the top-left.

Great picture !!
The light on this rusty coach is really amazing. I just regret the blue buildings that are really to present on the picture. I think that if you could have deleted this buildings the picture could have been perfect.

Wow, the detail and the colors are awesome in this photo for such a dark night. HDR? Also great composition! I just really like this picture!

Svetlana, Peter and rblue85, thank you very much! No, this is not a HDR-shot.

Way to capture the moment! I wonder if cropping in from the right - knocking out everything to the right of that last arch on the jungle gym, or even a bit farther, right up to the tree - might have made a stronger composition.

Love the pic! How you captured the kid just reaching what looks like the height of it's swing is great. Really like the vintage look with the coloring. The only thing I would have changed maybe is a little more sky between the feet and the top of the picture. Overall great picture! :-)
From what I know of shooting stuff like this, you need to light from below (lightbox), and above (external flash above the subject. like that you should achieve the required balance. Otherwise it's an absolutely terrific capture, and I can see why you were so eager to post it. Nice one!
