I might have taken this to B&W. This has a real mystery/abstract feel to it. Also, I would have painted/cropped out the edge of the head on the right edge of frame.

psychodudu - I think that plagiarism is a very strong word, I'd agree that the photo shouldn't be displayed without a credit to the performance group, and if you look on my site you'll find a reference to
"Strange Fruit performing at Galway Arts Festival 2005"
under the photo.
You may also note a very positive comment from Sian Francis one of the people in the photo. www.pygment.com/blog/2006/02/04/arts-festival/
It's an interesting argument but where could you draw the line. If you took a photo of a building should you not credit the Architect?
I've done my best to ensure that the work isn't displayed without due credit to me and the originators of the piece.
aloha - Yes, very much in the vain of René Magritte.

I thought there would be a good reason why you had chosen to put it up. Please accept my apologies.
pygment (Dave Gilligan) said 1 year ago:
Accepted you did bring up a very good point.

Very abstract, graphic (have a look at the thumbnail to see what I mean). Detail excellent. love it.

Lovely capture -- detail, subject. Only distraction, as a thumbnail it looks like the girl is wearing a backpack and the guy has very wide shoulders, like one of those windup strongmen toys... Otherwise, I like it!

Thanks Andrei, I went for that slighly different angle, I could see what other people were taking and tried to mix it up a bit :)
