Vernon, thank you for your very kind comments. I'm truly moved. Blurne, this IS in fact my own image of Eugene, the owner of these hands. I used this image for the cover of my first book Moments of Humanity, which Vernon referenced, so I AM posting my own images.
I have a second book that will be published and for sale later this year, Moments of Passion - Photography of Luis Bravo's Forever Tango! dance performances.

Lovely work Mark, how wonderful for you to be published. Truly an image that makes one think and feel.
Blumie (Sabine) said 1 year ago:
I am very, very sorry and impressed. Now I can tell you how much I love that shot. I do not only love the wonderful capture itself and the colors and all that technical stuff. I also like the feeling of those workers hands. I hope you are able to forgive. Sabine

The first thing that caught my eye, obviously, was the orange. After enlarging the the shot, the hands are why I love this shot. Well done.

Outstanding image!

Blumie, I don't participate much here, much to the chagrin of Vernon, so you don't see my stuff here much. Of course I understand why you may have thought that I took someone else's image off the book! But it's mine! No hard feelings at all. Thanks for the response and very kind words.

Thank you! I feel better now.

Brant, thank you so much. I am using this image as one of the cornerstones of my upcoming exhibition. This is also a prominent image in my pro site Tracy is currently developing. I will be doing a location shoot of Eugene this coming weekend to compliment this image of his hands with some of his day to day life.
Thanks again.
