I love these dogs. Could be a bit sharper but excellent anyway. The expression in the eye is too cool!! Like a Tex Avery cartoon.

I use "high pass" in order to get it a little sharper... but I'm also a big fan of the "orton effect"... so that's give this little blurry gloss I love.

This is one of my first shots with my new 10-20mm lens... so that's nice to read your enthusiasm...

I like how you got really down low, laying on the sand to get this shot. It is a little out of focus when you get to the dogs ears. Maybe use a smaller aperture. I like the dark blue of the sky along the top. I can relate to this picture because it seems like your dog is curious about weird things out in the world, just like my dog. Overall, I like the composition of this photo but would like it even more if everything was in focus.

What a personality in that poochy!

I see three nice points in the picture: the camera angle gets a nice effect on the blue sky, the depth of field from the dog to the beach and horizon is also nice, and the funny gaze of the dog to the camera.

Fits the topic perfectly. I like seeing the doggy agains the blue sky - extremely nice! My only criticism is the doggy appears out of focus, which is unfortunate, because this would otherwise be a great shot.
