I like this photo becouse of it's colours of the background, b&w is not a solution imo. imo, not centering the spider would be better. I would crop the little spider in the lower left corner away, that spider and his web are not important.
I know it's hard to give the spider his structure and colours becouse of the backlight, but maybe you could try it with a peace of paper or something diffrent what's reflecting the light. Imo, the colours on the background would fit more if the spider had his structure and colours.

This is a very well thought through shot. I also like the colours in the trees behind and agree with Tamara that cropping would strengthen the composition. You have the luxury of having a very strong base on which to play with this image. Well done.

love the spider but the colors behind it make my eyes go blurry. Sadly I don't know how to fix that...perhaps try it in black and white?
