Thank you for all the comments and critiques, and for my first Feature. :-D I was pleasantly surprised at how this one turned out. I took bunches of shots with different lightings and backgrounds. It's a clear glass bowl with clear clean water. The colour of this photos is not altered or enhanced. The sparkles are natural as well, air bubbles on the sides of the bowl. :-)

This is a lovely image. The layered effect is really great. I'd love to see a larger version of this. As lbstone noted, the top right is blown out, which is my only nitpick. Otherwise a really terrific shot.

it's absolutely stunning.

I love the many different shades of gray. These are some beautiful layers with interesting lines.

Like the light and tones here, gives a wonderful atmosphere in this kitchen.
chromadreams (David) added a critique 1 year ago:
I don't think that the displays are doing the duo, I think that the courtains are doing it, am I right?, never mind, all the way I find this photo so great, so natural scene of any home, maybe the light at the courtain's top is a bit strong but nothing important.
Truly I like this picture a lot.
lbstone (Brandon Stone) added a critique 1 year ago:
Very nice. I thought I commented on this before, but I guess I didn't. I love this kind of stuff. The "Duo-ness" is probably not terribly obvious, but it's a great, simple photo nonetheless. Anthropologists of the future will probably enjoy images like this.

THis is a wonderful "slice-of-life" photo. I really enjoyed it.

so good DOF, I love it. Take a look to that lost look on the model, works perfectly with the sensation of atention to something.
Great photo.
aloha_photo (Jeff Sisemoore) added a critique 1 year ago:
I agree with the comments above. I also note that your model appears to be old for her years, with a sophistication that is very appealing. Your treatment of her, especially your choice to use B&W, emphasizes this. Nicely done.

With the narrative this works a lot better, however as a standalone shot I wouldn't necessary say it belongs to this topic.

actually I kind of like that it's upside down -- precisely because the inverted A looks like the Eiffel Tower. very clever.

Wow, what a nice surprise. And, Myla, I agree. I was tickled to see them show up so well again the little flowers.

Thanks for the comments guys. It's not as exciting once you know what it is, but it is a close up of a modern art' sculpture' in La Defense in Paris. See here. I'd love to go back and take more shots of it - I have another one I like but supposedly it is impressive at night too.

I like that. Is it a photo? I would love to know what you caught here. The blue fits perfect to the black.
McAWilliams (John Williams) said 1 year ago:
yep this is a photo of a trail of smoke from an incense stick, the really funny thing is I had the camera on the wrong white balance setting and got the blue hue, but I ended up been happier with this image then the other 50 odd I took, dunno it reminds me of a woman or something.
philippe (Philippe Reichert) added a critique 1 year ago:
Beautiful color and movement. I would crop it a bit, though. It would also fit perfectly in abstract.
digitalchemy (A J Gunawan) added a critique 1 year ago:
wow .. this is totally beautiful, i love it. sorry cannot give you any constructive critic on this one.
joka (Johannes Kapp) added a critique 1 year ago:
fine!
very nice, the only change would be the background which is very active and distracts from the subject.
