I agree with Amy that the colours and detail are great. Very opportunistic to get a fab shot like this, but how long did it take you to get this critter to pose?

Great moment, very nicely captured!! The composition should be either a little tighter of looser. The end of the bolt just touching the top of frame and the black at the bottom of the yellow band showing at the bottom are both distracting.

To get this shot I was using the fast capture mode and firing away. This was taken with my 200mm lens as he was up on the pole above me. Took me about 10 min to follow him around and find a composition and body movement that worked. I don't have to worry about scaring him as he teases my dog and is used to me following him after i put the dog inside.
