Great shot, and a good idea to post to this topic.

There's certainly money in THIS.
Congratulations on your idea :)
And it's a very interesting shot, too! I like the way how the poppies fade due to the shallow depth of field. Gives you the impression how many there're.

I find the blurred big ones in the foreground really disturbing though.

Indeed, a very strong image. Maybe even better dan het coloured one.
(and no... still no naked lady visible... she must be still hidden in the high grass/weeds ;)
Beamer (Clyde Beamer) said 3 months ago:
Congrats Mikhail!! I like this one much better that the color one. Hey, BTW, have you tried Nik Software's Silver FX Pro?? It is a great way to convert digital to look like B&W film:
misu (Mikhail Palinchak) said 3 months ago:
Beamer, thanks... I am glad You like it. I make convertion to B&W with Nik Software plug-in (color gradient filter) but not with Silver FX Pro. I found Silver FX Pro onlu two weeks ago... so I have it and from now make all conversion to B&W and sepia only in it =)
Beamer (Clyde Beamer) said 3 months ago:
Yep, I am really liking the results I am getting with the Silver FX Pro plugin. It is creating quite a dilemma for me. I recently started shooting film again and bought a Nikon F100 which I just love. But this software does such a nice job of converting digital to look like it was shot on film. And the problems associated with trying to get a good scan off a silver base negative are tempting me to just shoot digital and convert...??? Anybody have any thoughts?
