Bravo, bravissimo. This is wonderful. Only someone with the soul of an artist could possibly live here!

I forgot to mention that she's lovely, with a certain "je ne sais quoi", that is quite captivating!

Great colors!
Cate (Cate Bennett) added a critique 1 year ago:
I have to agree that the colors are great, and very complementary to the photo as well as to the subject. I do disagree that it should be "touched up." I know that it very likely depends on the purpose of the photo (ie someone wanting an attractive professional photo of themselves, vs. a candid shot of someone). In this instance, the subject's "blemishes" identify her as real, and that she's a young woman -- very lovely and not perfect, human.

Very nice image to look at. She looks beautifully in your camera, the colors are really nice, and I think the same as Cate: no retouching needed. She's perfect as she is.

Exquisite. I also disagree completely on touching up the subject. She looks wonderful and this is not a vanity portrait anyway. Her expression and the tilt of her head are both wonderful.
What I'd like to see is a shot with her isolated but still in context. It seems like a shot taken from a crowd (which it is) rather than setting her a bit apart in an even more timeless moment.
Still, two thumbs way up. Was this photo featued? It should have been.

Very nice reflection with good use of focus !
Impressed by the way you get the details of the streets under the water.

fine view! Are the colours authentic?
marcello (Marcello Coiana) said 1 year ago:
Joka, yes absolutely authentic, it's a view from my window, and there's only one color and shadows on it. Glad you like it!

adevrx, thank you, actually this is one of my first ( and then only ) experiment with desaturation, this encourages me to try again.

Yay! I'm surprised this one took so long to get featured, it's one of my favourites from the theme.
These older bikes are a lot more interesting to photograph than the new ones, I think. Even the cheap ones had an attention to detail in the design - like that fin on the fender- that's hard to find now.

I'm surprised this one was featured at all. There is nothing unique or interesting about this photo. Its just a snap shot of a front tire with some leaves. Not very appealing to me.
Enhorabuena por esta fotografĂa, la niebla y la mirada del hombre nos dibujan la ciudad al fondo. Saludos
