Very nice photo. The only thing I would change, were it mine, would be to make the background light blue - so it looks more like sky - I think that would make the colors of the bird "pop" more.

I'm not really sure the idea of minimalism includes real life subjects. It's supposed to be clean lines and fairly abstract really.

I think this is a fine example of minimalism in the natural world. Same with the sharpness, the bird looks sharp to me. I enjoyed this image and appreciate the effect the white background has on the image over all.

i like the simplicity ... i would be curious though to see the original backdrop ghosted in - still way in the "back".
