I like this a lot, too, and I don't feel irritaged by the blur in the center at all. Actually I kind of like that. For some reason the look of the street lights bothers me, thouhg. For some reason the appear somehow fake to me (not that I'm trying to say they are!). It would be nice to have a little more light spreading from them instead of having that very condensed lighting.
I hope this makes at least some sense to you! ;)

What I mean is, that the contrast on those lights seems a little too strong.

Just a cool pic to look at......it would look good in a black frame with white matting on a white wall.

thanks for all the nice comments :P
i remember doing hardly any editing (maybe contrast and of course b&w convert) so the lights are just how the photo naturally came out, i used a wicked long exposure so i think thats why they ended up looking so overexposed/ball shaped.
i really like night photography :) new topic? :P

Beautifull photo. Gives a real sense of motion. I like it a lot in B/W.

One of my favorites by leaves, this is truly an awesome image. A lot of people say the headlight long exposure images are overdone but this one is great,--a nice grayscale and without the colored lights, it's very nice to look at. The only thing that confuses me are the 2 blurs in the center of the image, I don't know what caused them but they kind of seem out of place.
a lovely image though m8!
