What a sweet sweet face!! I bet he gives wonderful kisses! I love how you've captred the eyes. The right eye is a little dark, though, which puts my focus back up top and makes him seem a little "one-eyed." It also makes me feel like the puppy is almost out of room. I would show a little less hard-wood and lighten his eye a hair. Great picture!! Is he a King Charles?

Thanks for the comment. I took this shot many different ways. How would you suggest that I lighten his eye? Yes, He is a King Charles and he does give great kisses.

I like this the way it is...To lighten the lower eye from this capture, you would have to make a soft matte in that area and selective color correct. Probably would not look natural, I wouldn't bother. Very nice, very cute shot. My dog lays like this with half his body hanging outside the dog bed.

Very nice and cute capture. Some additional lighting would have been nice, especially on the fur of his forehead and his nose. Maybe just a diffused low-power flash a bit to the left would have been enough (or on-camera flash diffused through a tennis table ball or a cigarette package could probably do the job).

Very nice and friendly image.
Maybe add a bit of contrast to pull out the whites a bit more.

I probably do this wrong but I use the dodge tool and a low opacity. He is adorable!!!!!

Great shot - should have submitted it in the Eyes topic as well!

Best,
