This is definitely one of my favorites of the Stairs Category. I'm a winter type guy and love the feeling of this photo.

I agree with Beamer I'm afraid. I love the colour in the centre but the darkness from the top of the shot spoils it.

I'm on the fence, and the image, is on the edge ... the dark areas and shadow give it a very nice moody "emerging" feel, but the areas that are highlighted, arent *quite* punchy enough.

I like the idea, but the DOF doesn't seem to work with the composition. Especially for the two petals that are in focus, but their edges go out of focus where they meet. I would rather it be uniformly out of focus or have a focal plane chosen to draw the viewer into the composition.

I like the softness but I would lighten it up just a litte. :0)

Great picture, love the composition, draws you into the picture. Love the dof.

Really like the composition, its perfect. The only change I would be to the left road behind the tree in the foreground. It seems a little washed out, maybe if it is a little darker it would make the picture stand out. But then maybe not.

It feels a bit washed out to me.
