mysight, this was taken on California Street just west of Kearny Ave. in San Francisco. I had gone to the City early on a Sunday morning looking for shots. I waited on the 'up' side of California Street and waited until the people began crossing the street to take this one. I was 'practicing' my attempts at recreating some of Frederic Larson's images from the book 'Mystical San Francisco.' Here is a link to the image I was emulating:

Great street shot, it looks very graphic and i like that a lot.

The wavy lines make this a really mesmerizing shot. The silhouettes of the people are just wonderful.
