Very nice shot.
the lighting is excellent.
I like the right eye in shadow as it leaves a bit of wonder in the image.

Really beautifl greenish shot, but it's a bit more huge that a simple minimalism.
joka (Johannes Kapp) said 1 year ago:
Outstanding! Very special atmosphere, impressed from the simplicity with maximum effect! Compliments!
chromadreams (David) said 1 year ago:
it looks like a toothbrush, this would work better at the "green" topic, don't you think?
ian (Ian Thomson) said 1 year ago:
Yep, guess so - but this topic was created first and didn't really want to re-upload the same image..

I was going to ask where this was taken, but you have done that for us. My only comment for improvement would be shutter speed, the back end of the picture is blurry but not out of what appears to be the focus area.
Laurie (Laurie) added a critique 1 year ago:
Fabulous!
If anyone around here rode like that with a child the authorities would be called, the child removed from the families custody, etc, etc...amazing how societies differ so.

Nice shot, it's clearly that it was taken behind a glass, some kind of papparazzi, really nice job !

VernonTrent (Vernon Trent) said 1 year ago:

This is a beautiful image. Great capture.
eli (Elijah Woolery) added a critique 1 year ago:
Great capture with wonderful saturated tones; the only minor critique I might have would be with composition; for some reason I feel it would be stronger if the subject were more towards the right side of the frame.
chasewhittemore (Chase Whittemore) added a critique 1 year ago:
I am going to agree with Eli and say that the subject would be really well placed on the right side of the frame. The reflection is also an interesting piece to this picture, though I wish the main subject did not bare down so hard on the reflection.
This is just me trying to give constructive criticism here. I think the image is very well down.
Is that a turtle shell?

ahutchison (Alan Hutchison) said 1 year ago:
Fantastic - although I'm not sure if the image would actually be better without the hull of the boat showing?
karim2k (Ben Abdallah Abdel Karim) said 1 year ago:
Nice work, with the front edge of the boat !
xavtek (Xavier Rotivel) said 1 year ago:
Thank you for your kind comments, it's nice to have a pic featured among such great works here.
I think the pic works for me thanks to the hull of the boat, because it reminds me of the memories on this lake.

neene (nina meledandri) said 1 year ago:
quite beautiful
&
totally minimal in feeling
even with so much going on
karim2k (Ben Abdallah Abdel Karim) said 1 year ago:
Simple but spoiled with the wires behind, keep going.
deloscampos (Sébastien Déchamps) said 1 year ago:
It's simple and really good but i wouldn't necessarily call it minimalism as the importance of the subject is somewhat disturbed by the surrounding environment (wall textures, wires, plugs & switches...).
Sébastien
Emotional take there.
Is that a bandage on your hand?
This picture makes me kinda sad.
In a good way I guess.
