Thanks Mike, glad that you like my photo.
The people became ghosts because of my long exposure. That is the reason for my title "Phone to a ghost".

Aren't these things red enough to not have to do the selective saturation thing. I think it just called too much attention to itself, imo. The eye is so drawn to the phone booths that I didn't hardly even see the people until I read the comments. I would love to see this as it was shot.

I like these photo. Like You use red and B&W, like shadows of people on the background. Great photo anyway!

Thank you Clyde and Mikail for your comments.
Clyde: Unfortunately the building in the back was under renovation, therefore it was very dominating, turning it into black and white removed the focus from this building.

Nothing like a European Phone Booth! Love the Selective Saturation.

Have to say I like the colour on the phone booths as well. Being nit picky here but I find the show to the bottom right distracting and would be really cool of the "ghosts" were closer to the booths. But a nice image, well done.

the selective desaturation is a little bold for my taste.

I love it, I love it, I love it! Do I need to say more? O.K, I do :)
A few months back I never heard of selective saturation, till I went to Vazaar. Now I figured out how to do it myself, I became a fan of this technique. And your photo... well... it's great! I make it a favorite.

Great shot. I like the fading passers-by as much as the double phone boots. Great effect of the partial saturation.

One of the rare occasions where I like selective saturation - but I think it would have been better if you had pulled back a little on the red. It's a bit too bright red imo. But all in all it's a good picture...

Very cool night photo.
Really like this selective saturation here!
IMO, the people add a bit of interest as they are not fully sharp, most if the focus is a fleeting glance past them!
