One of the rare occasions where I like selective saturation - but I think it would have been better if you had pulled back a little on the red. It's a bit too bright red imo. But all in all it's a good picture...

It's a pity those are being removed.

I really like the selective saturation. Normally I don't care for it, but it appears more natural in this image. Great exposure.

Wow, great shot and I'm not the only one who thinks so... This reminds me of Momo's staircase at the entrance of the Vatican museum.

Cool! Did you get the (nearly) perfctly rectilinear effect becouse you were standing on a building across the street?
janlykke (Jan Lykke) said 6 months ago:
Thank you Tamara. You absolutely right. I was standing on the roof of a lower building across the street.

ScottCrouse (Scott Crouse) said 6 months ago:
Excellent and very captivating. Well done.
sfkp (Tamara) said 6 months ago:
I realize maybe for some of you it was a dumb question of me. I was aiming at a function of Photoshop what can correct a anoying persfective you get sometimes when you take a picture of buildings while standing on the street.
On this website the autor gave an example of this: www.heinpragt.com/fotografie/fotografie4.php#Deel8
janlykke (Jan Lykke) said 6 months ago:
Thank you, Scott. Glad you like it.
Tamara: I dont think your question was dump. Off course you can correct the perspective in Photoshop. But it is difficult to get a shot like this, if you dont stand on higher ground, as I did in this case.

Interesting structure that definately has the potential of great architecture shot. Unfortunately I feel that the iron in the lower left corner makes the composition unbalanced.

Very nice landscape/cityscape!! I agree that the Topic placement seems odd, but lovely image anyway. You might consider place this in Skyscapes too.
You know you can suggest a Topic and/or vote on upcoming Topics:

Very nice. Like the way you use the trees as foreground and then lead us into the city. Great sky.

The best way is to rephoto this flower. Make an interesting photo. Use language of light and shadows. Now flower is flatten. Try other composition and focused on center of the flower!
janlykke (Jan Lykke) added a critique 6 months ago:
misu has already said most of it. I would say try another angle, focus on the center and mayby go up in aperture.

Great shot. I like the fading passers-by as much as the double phone boots. Great effect of the partial saturation.
