good work!!! For me the ship magnify the photo (it seems to be big) and gives it a reference of how big are the mountains. In the other I´ll give a little bit of contrast to give more presence to frog. Good work!!!

I agree that the boat was not needed, but adding it also added to the sense of scale.

It's strange that I saw this as a picture of a boat when I took it, but everyone here seems to be seeing a landscape that just happens to have a boat.
You could comment on this photo if you were logged in.
lovely colors and atmosphere, Graham. By placing the ship in the middle of your composition, you've created a bit of a static look to your shot. Maybe that's what you were after. It would have been a great shot without the boat.
