May not look it, but actually all colors here are quite natural...not a thing done in PP to alter colors. It was a very rainy day, shot at ISO 800

Great detail. These guys always take off before I can get a decent shot.
mysight (Carl H. Sr.) said 1 year ago:
Same guy that eats my goldfish!
MMeye (Martine) said 1 year ago:
Wow, excellent shot. Patience is needed to 'capture' one of them, congrats !
dcrphotography (Daniel) said 1 year ago:
My question is, how is this not featured when all the little bug pictures are?
MMeye (Martine) said 1 year ago:
I suppose it depends on 'who' is rating... It seems that patience is also needed to get featured ;-)

Je trouve la situation originale, avec deux sens de lecture. De gauche à droite, le sens de la vie, de droite à gauche, le sens des souvenirs. Merci et à la prochaine.

This one grew on me a lot as I rate. Has a great story and evokes "before" and "after" imagery. Really nice.
marcouet52 (Mario Arcouette) said 1 year ago:
Very good idea.
before and after.
Were you complice or it just happen

Not intentional on my part, but perhaps on his. Taken the first night of the North American Photoblogger meetup in Chicago...the subject is Thomas Marlow.

I like that orange effect.

Thanks Carl. Close to Navarre. This is from Pensacola Beach just down the road.

I had not rated this topic for a while and this shot zipped to the top of my personal top 20...I love the lighting, the capture of the tackle sailing through the aire and the onrushing waves. A definite favorite for me!
mysight (Carl H. Sr.) said 1 year ago:
And you were west of the pier obviously,?
Looking back my 'nav.' way.

Perhaps we should have a "sub topic" here -- pictures of Brandon taking pictures.
TracyMartin (Tracy Martin) said 1 year ago:
I think we might have a rival "sub-topic" subject soon -- pictures of Mark Kitaoka taking pictures. ;-)

I never see rain falling like that..Is that rain??
MMeye (Martine) said 1 year ago:
Same question as Florence... If the pic was not placed in this topic, I would have believed you had shot it from a cave under a fall.
TracyMartin (Tracy Martin) said 1 year ago:
This was taken last fall as a submission for the Rain theme on WS. It was in the evening and I was going out to do final barn chores and opened the garage door to this, so I grabbed my tri-pod and little point & shoot camera and got a couple of exposures off before my battery died. It was the outdoor light that illuminated the rain. :-)))

Very interesting photo. I like the angle on it, and the b/w.
forgingahead (Bob Foss) added a critique 1 year ago:
My issue with this shot is that I am unable to orient myself and figure out what I am looking at. I realize they are light bulbs but I don't find enough context to figure out where they are or how it works as an architectural detail.
