I agree that it is a very nice shot. Was it straight from the camera?

Migrontes (Antonio R. Torres) added a critique 11 months ago:

Buena composición y quizás algo apagado los colores.Pero los detalles son buenos.

Beamer (Clyde Beamer) added a critique 11 months ago:

Very nice, great capture. Seems a bit noisy and I would crop off just 10 or 15% off the top, would really focus the attention/interest more, IMHO.

forgingahead (Bob Foss) added a critique 11 months ago:

Very nice photograph with several strong visual elements and a great use of color contrasts. I agree with Beamer that the overall image is bit noisy. I'm not sure about the idea of cropping the top but would consider some changes near the bottom, largely because I don't really care for the fence and greenery in the lower left. I also wonder what the white streaks across the sky are? Perhaps this was scanned film and they are scratches on the emulsion?

Great composition, very vivid colors, and the moon on the top it´s fantastic.
I would place the windmill a little bit in the left.
Good work

Very nice. What really drew my eye was the lone green pepper in the bunch!

The real thing!
They look so old.
I would sure like to see the inside of one.

forgingahead (Bob Foss) said 1 year ago:

What's with you and windmills??? ;-) Very nice.

beckn32 (Kim Norton) said 1 year ago:

:o) I was wondering if anyone would notice. I'm going to have to frame these and the West Texas Windmills up somehow. What a contrast.

Thanks y'all.

Excellent composition. Seeing this photo side by side with your earlier windmill picture was interesting. They were very similar in composition yet very different.

The two pictures could make a good diptych.

This was originally taken by me many years ago. Shot on Kodak Ektachrome 64, scanned about a year or so ago for posting on Scanning My Life.

I like it, too. Is that a butterfly wing??

Sher (Sher Hilliard) said 1 year ago:

Thanks Bob and Stephanie - it is part of a moth wing one of our cats brought inside to play with!

The color, movement and patterns of this photo make me feel as if I'm looking at the inside of a nautilus - very lovely.

Wonderful pastoral atmosphere

This is lovely. It seems a bit noisy at the bottom, but i like it very much. My favorite part is the strong contrast between the sky and the fog. Great shot.
