Lovely barn. I think I would prefer a less centered crop of sky and grass. Less grass would work better for me.

jasonkravitz (Jason Kravitz) added a critique 11 months ago:

I was going to suggest cropping as well - even to 8x10 as there is a lot of grass foreground that does not add much to the shot.

I like your PP style - it is very HDR like

this is probably a personal nitpick but the building seems almost too bright or somehow out of proportion to the sky and grass. Maybe adding a little contrast in curves would pull it all together. Again probably a personal thing as you may have tried or thought of this and made a conscious choice to make it as is.

Sonoma added a critique 11 months ago:

I love the green and blue together. The colors are fantastic. And the rolling hil sets it off perfectly. I certainly wouldn't want to square off a shot like this.

What an amazing shot - very well executed on every level... Instant fave for me.

Thanks,

WONDERFUL IDEA !!! My favourite photo - such a simple idea brought to perfection. Even my little son plays with the spoon reflection every lunchtime but to do this with it would never come to my mind. Congratulations playful soul !

Me gusta mucho esta fotografia, creo que ha conseguido unos acertados contrastes. La composicion, los tonos llevan al espectador hasta la edificacion central, creo que está perfectamente equilibrada. Enhorabuena. Saludos

This is the perfect antidote for anyone feeling stressed- it just epitomizes peacefulness.

gembase (frederic Michiels) added a critique 1 year ago:

The fog , the lightning ,the shadows and the clouds make this shot an incredible one! there's a strong feeling of calm and serenity going out there. It was also a difficult exposure due to the sun and you did it well .

veta (Svetlana Danilova) added a critique 1 year ago:

good job capturing moment

chrislaw2007 added a critique 1 year ago:

Very beautiful image. I like that you got the intensity of the sun without burning out the colors of the trees completely.

Cheers

Nice mood. In my opinion, food is one of the most difficult subject in photography. Here you succeeded in creating something inviting, beautiful, and I just feel like sitting there and sharing this with you ;-)

Bob, the lighting is fantastic here. I believe I'm now hankering for a piece of apple pie.
