Thanks all!! Hey, Ana, have you been posting anywhere lately?? Found any good new places?
Ana (Ana Cortez) added a critique 5 months ago:
Just by blog, Mister Beamer.
And that is a bit on the slow side.
So nope.
Not posting anywhere cool.
Just commenting here. I don't rate at all. It's worthless to me.

I really like this. The clouds, the dirt, the weeds, the rust, the flat tires... very nice!

Sometimes I really don't get it. There are dozens of pictures in "Straight from Cam" topic that are WAY better than this one... What is so special about it?
sfkp (Tamara) said 4 months ago:
Well, I didn't choose it to be featured. But if I may guess... maybe it's becouse of it's shows my 'learning proces'? The last half year I learned to look diffrent at extra-ordinairy locations and scenes, and this is a example of it.
I know I am WAY not the best photographer on Vazaar, and, for me, I don't have to be. But I think my photo's showcase the actual meaning of Vazaar: share our photo's and learn from eachother.
groetjes

At the very beginning of World War II, the Germans and the Soviets, according to Ribbentrop-Molootov treaty, attacked Poland from west and east. In the above photo you can see civilians escaping from the Germans.
It was taken during the historic reconstruction that took place on May 25th 2008 to commemorate this event.
That's really a neat portrait, great effect too -, Shots from behind usually don't work so well, but here i think it adds to the mystery - is it made with a lensbaby ?
