This is a beauty. I don't mind the trees, I agree with kadenajack that they give a balance. And I like the foreground vignetting so I don't think a crop would particularly enhance the composition. Well done!

Beautiful!
Amazing water softness!
Nothing to suggest that could improve it!
Great job!

I love these types of photos. I cannot figure out what it is, and thats part of why I love it. I'm thinking fiberoptics are somehow involved. Great photo...wish I had taken it!!
zulu (Rahim Zulkifli) said 1 year ago:
Its a playtoy from my doghter. Yes this are so fiberoptic cables. It can change the light. My wife dont like the photo. Because of her, I had thought too, that this is not good. But it seams so, that the feelings are different.
Thanks..

nice perspective. what is it?
duncmc (Duncan McMillan) added a critique 1 year ago:
Nice textures, lighting and DoF. I would question the relevancy because for me the subject is the whole of the wood/metal/hook thing, even the bit that is out of the focal plane, so therefore it occupies most of the frame. Great image though.
Laurie (Laurie) added a critique 1 year ago:
The perspective is great...seems like it's upside down. The whole shot seems important so I don't know how minimalist it is.
inophoto (Jamie Adams) added a critique 1 year ago:
I agree with the comments above. For me it doesn't seem relevent - although it is a pleasant image.

Wow. I am surprised this one made it from the earlier comments. Thanks.
doilyboy (Martin Grey Gottlieb) added a critique 1 year ago:
I really like it. Totally emits solitude and I think that the log helps convey that. The fact that it is the lone thing in the water, for me, means solitude.
NIce image.

so calm... Great ambiance. All is in the suggestion, in the invisible or nearly. ;)

The tones are absolutely perfect. This is really very pretty. I like the crop because of the lace in the gown.
duncmc (Duncan McMillan) added a critique 1 year ago:
Very pretty image. I also like the lace detail on the dress. I would be tempted to burn in the shadow areas of the bouquet, just to give a bit more contrast to the flower details. Getting really picky maybe the green flower stems (top left) are a little distracting.
dontbrandme (S) added a critique 1 year ago:
Not a critique, but my bouquet is going to look something similar to that but I'm having creamy colored hydrangea as the main flower in it and the rosey/creamy roses strewn about with the stephanotis! 4 months, I'm excited can't you tell? ;)

I like the composition ok but I'm not wild about the colors. I don't like the green very much.
jsmanseau added a critique 1 year ago:
This would be interesting to see in B&W. Not a huge fan of the colors, but the composition is good.
miniTotoro (Natalie) added a critique 1 year ago:
That's wild. Reminds me of Star Trek. Kinda nebulous. I like the details in the clouds and the different layers.
duncmc (Duncan McMillan) added a critique 1 year ago:
I concur with above. Great composition and lighting. The aspect ration is unusual which adds interest. The texture in the clouds is good too. But those colours are not to my taste at all. If it's not an intentional Photoshop effect, then it looks to me like some weird white balancing artefact.

I think here is the color select not right ...

Don't know what it is but it's a beauty. Stained glass dome?
barcelonaphblog (Carlos Lorenzo) said 1 year ago:
It is a stained glass ceiling inside Palau de la Musica (concert hall) in Barcelona. It is a beautiful sample of Catalan Art Nouveau also known as modernisme. Thanks for your comment duncmc.
