Thanks Paul...Definitely going to try it:)
psychodudu (Andrew Parker) added a critique 1 year ago:
Nope. The other one is where it's at. You just need to refine the other one and you've got a real winner on your hands (excuse the pun...lol). This is out of balance, and you've lost the cool intertwining fingers concept, which I loved. I think the symmetry is important in this, so you should keep that. Not sure the ghostly aspect on the fingers is wrong either, it gives it a supernatural look. Sorry!
dpd (Piet Osefius & Rob van Kleef) added a critique 1 year ago:
Very nice symmetry, you have a good eye. The only thing I don't like in this picture is the bit over saturated red of the nails.
chromadreams (David) added a critique 1 year ago:
is good but i think that you should try it again without the jewels and not so saturated, with a little less of saturation would be so good.
kadenajack (Jack) added a critique 10 months ago:
I really like this one. I'm surprised it hasn't featured yet. If I were to improve anything it would be to only saturate the nails.

Je trouve la situation originale, avec deux sens de lecture. De gauche à droite, le sens de la vie, de droite à gauche, le sens des souvenirs. Merci et à la prochaine.

This one grew on me a lot as I rate. Has a great story and evokes "before" and "after" imagery. Really nice.

George, your photo is certainly a reminder that instead of looking up all the time, we sometimes should look down.
you did and were rewarded with this wonderful photo that is dark and brooding with a sense of mystery and adventure.
Well done.

oz_sprog (Will Williams) added a critique 1 year ago:
I agree with all points above but one I might add is, it'd be nice to see a very subtle gradient in the sky to a tiny bit of depth, just a thought :)
luan (Luan Huynh) added a critique 1 year ago:
I agree with oz_sprog that you should try to create a sense of depth in this image, which may add more interest and retain the viewer's eye a bit longer. Otherwise it is excellent.
jaapv added a critique 1 year ago:
I must be the dissenting voice. I would have wanted more contrast with a darker sky - and maybe a star in the lower left strong point?
But still, I like it as it is....
cashleym (Ashley Tanner) added a critique 1 year ago:
Very nice, though I must agree that I wonder how it would look with a bit of a darker sky. But still very nice.

Agreed... That's really cool. I wonder what makes the rocks all sparkly like that.
dpd (Piet Osefius & Rob van Kleef) said 1 year ago:
These are the rocks of a groyne at midnight in beach resort Kijkduin, near The Hague. The sparkling is coming from the moonlight on the mussel shells.
