i assure you there is no photoshop magicwork on this image. i shot it with a 200mm f/4 nikkor macro at the widest aperture.

I would suggest lightening and sharpening it's to dark for my taste. However nice crop.

thank you for your comments. However, the original photography is darker than this; and I think it's better for contrast. Actually, The paper developpment is less "white".

I have the impression that the skin is too smooth to make natural. But I like enough the attitude of the model

nice but way too much softening, some skin texture would be nice, looks like she's made of wax ... (even for a 13yo girl, skin has a texture :)

when you post a picture on a forum, from my point of view, it's in order to get constructive critics, to progress. For me, there is still work.

if i post a msg on your photo it s because i like it, the guy's position is overplayed (in my opinion) and you should work the lighting a bit more.
to conclude i m here to improve not in the order to get congrats, i hope you are in the same way.

Well, all of your critiques are welcome (though none was requested)......I was only curious to see what your photographic vision was, you know?

As to your thoughts on this image, it was a taken with a timer in a public hallway so I really didn't have a whole lot of time to get everything quite perfect.

Anyway, I like this photo. I would just try another crop, narower (a suggestion...)

Perfect for the theme I think it's slightly out of focus...unless this was the intent.
