I think this is a fantastic shot for the topic, well done! Beautiful capture too. Love the expression on his/her face. :-D

Awesome shot.
These type of shots make me happy the wife is pregnant!
sealgmg2 (Scott Niquette) said 5 months ago:
Great expression. You captured his/her emotion wonderfully. This image made me smile, really. While the background is a bit busy, the image still works because it's real and because the child is so prominent in the image. Very nice work. Thanks for sharing it with us.

This is absolutely beautiful ... and different too. Superb composition of a much used portrait.

Classic and always nice subject. The low fog here gives it an extra depth.

I agree, great shot. Would work very well in Reflections also!! What is the surface??
crahan (Thomas Bouve) said 5 months ago:
It's a black dinner plate. Not very even (which is why the reflection isn't 100% perfect).

Very cool shot.
Great job and i hope to see this featured.

@Beamer: thanks for pointing me to the reflections topic. I had overlooked it.

Well done. DOF is perfect. Try or too crop more, or not to crop at all.
CEG added a critique 6 months ago:
Great Detail. What are you using? I can't seem to get a macro shot that tight with what I have right now.
crahan (Thomas Bouve) said 6 months ago:
@CEG: this was shot using a Nikkor 105mm micro. I was contemplating getting the Tamron 90mm instead of this lens for quite some time, but in the end I went with the Nikkor. Mainly because my budget could stretch that far and the front element doesn't extend, which the Tamron does.
ScottCrouse (Scott Crouse) added a critique 6 months ago:
I'd try putting the flower more off center. Get the yellow over to the left edge so the DOF shows better. Otherwise nice image.

Excellent! Love the voyeuristic feel to this! I take it this is the UK - makes me feel home sick a little looking at it like this!
crahan (Thomas Bouve) said 6 months ago:
Actually this was shot in Bruges, Belgium :D

The love the tone in this photo, everything fits so well together and the subject is lit beautifully.
It's rather for topic "Portraite of persson" than Human Body!
